Is There a Way Out For Humanity?

We asked, “Is there a way out for humanity” in the previous post, “We Can Never Save Ourselves“.

Fortunately, the good news is, there is!

That’s the glorious beauty of the gospel of Jesus Christ came in.

Jesus Christ died on the cross and has risen from death to life.

He is the Son of God, which means He is God.

God came down from heaven to earth, to become a man. Fully God, fully man, submitting himself to God the Father’s rescue plan for us.

We have talked about in the previous post how much we have sinned against God and God is just. The punishment of our sins is death.

However, now, instead of we die the death we deserve, Jesus died for us to pay for the death penalty of our sins. 

Not only that, He has risen from death to life. He has conquered sin and death. This means that we can forever be with God!

Who would have done this, to die for an enemy to save them? Not just died, but suffered agonising pain before that. What sort of love is this? Only the unfathomable love of God do this!

What are we to do? We can only give thanks, praise the most merciful and loving God, and give our lives to Him, for this life and in eternity.
